About Homeville Care

Founded and led by a Registered Nurse, Homeville was established with a strong commitment to delivering compassionate, ethical, and culturally responsive care across the Northern Territory.

At Homeville, our foundation is built on the core values of respect, integrity, trust, and genuine community connection. We understand that every individual’s journey is unique, which is why our services are tailored to meet the specific needs, goals, and cultural backgrounds of each participant. We are dedicated to providing high-quality supports that align with national frameworks, including the Closing the Gap initiative, ensuring equitable access to care and improved outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

Our approach is grounded in both trauma-informed practice and person-centred care. This means we prioritise safety, understanding, and empowerment in every interaction. We recognise the impact of life experiences and ensure that every individual is treated with dignity, compassion, and genuine respect. At Homeville, we actively promote choice and control, empowering participants to make informed decisions about their care and support services. Our focus is not only on meeting immediate needs but also on fostering independence, improving wellbeing, and encouraging meaningful community participation throughout the Northern Territory.

Meet Our Founder – Dennis

Dennis is a Registered Nurse with extensive experience working across the Northern Territory, including remote, regional, and community health settings. Through his frontline experience, Dennis witnessed the importance of culturally responsive, respectful, and accessible care particularly in underserved and remote communities.

He founded Homeville with a clear and purposeful vision: to provide person-centred services that genuinely empower individuals and families while strengthening community connections. Dennis is deeply committed to delivering care grounded in respect, integrity, and trust. His approach ensures that every participant feels safe, heard, and valued. He believes in supporting individuals to exercise true choice and control over their lives, promoting independence, wellbeing, and meaningful engagement within their communities. For Dennis, care is more than a service it is a partnership.

“Care is about dignity, empowerment, and walking alongside people in their journey.”
